Mission

The mission of the International Association of Retired Law Enforcement Officers, Inc. is to be the voice of all retired law enforcement officers and represent their interests by monitoring, protecting, and improving the benefits needed to secure dignity, independence, and overall quality of life.

National Goals

We seek to promote, advance, and defend the rights and interests of law enforcement retirees and improve the retirement status, benefits, morale, and general welfare of retirees.

We seek to find ways to help law enforcement retirees’ stretch their retirement dollars by securing benefits through discounts and employment opportunities.

We seek to monitor and protect state and federal laws that may affect retired law enforcement officers through legislative and legal advocacy, political action, and education.

We seek to support and form a coalition of retired law enforcement associations and groups from across the United States which serves to advance the interests of America’s law enforcement officers’ retirees through legislative and legal advocacy, political action, and education.

We seek to coordinate with other organizations on issues of common interest and concern to the IARLEO members.

We seek to communicate with the IARLEO membership in an effective and timely manner via newsletters, electronic correspondence, meetings, and other means as appropriate.

International Goals

We seek to bring retired law enforcement officers together, worldwide, so that they may help each other and their families through the exchange of ideas, resources, advice, and opinions.

We seek to find ways to help international law enforcement retirees’ stretch their retirement dollars by securing benefits through discounts and other benefits.

We seek to support and form a coalition of International law enforcement associations and groups which will serve to advance the interests of retired law enforcement officers worldwide.

We seek to promote the companionship and general welfare of those who are bona fide members in good standing, by protecting and preserving the just rights and privileges of all members through group representation.
